About Brent Fulton, MD

Dr. Brent Fulton was born in Iowa City, Iowa, and grew up in the Daytona Beach area. He graduated as the Valedictorian of Father Lopez Catholic High School in 1991. After earning an appointment to the United States Naval Academy, he graduated with Merit in 1995. Dr. Fulton served as a Special Operations Officer in the U.S. Navy for five years before pursuing his medical degree at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. He completed his residency and fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

Board-certified in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine, Dr. Fulton specializes in conservative and post-operative treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, including those affecting the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, feet, and spine. In addition to musculoskeletal care, he also helps patients manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, obesity, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and fibromyalgia through personalized diet and exercise programs. His goal is to support patients in achieving their optimal health and performance, whether they’re aiming to enhance athletic performance, reduce downtime from injury, or improve overall well-being.

Dr. Fulton currently resides in Ormond Beach, Florida, with his wife and four children. Outside of his clinical practice, he is an active member of the sports medicine community. He has traveled with the U.S. Waterski Team as one of their team physicians, and in 2015, he served both the U.S. and Canadian teams at the U21 World Championship in Sesena, Spain. Dr. Fulton also volunteers as the team physician for Father Lopez Catholic High School.
